Helping You Feel Better, Move Better.

WHAT IS A CHIROPRACTOR?

A chiropractor is a healthcare professional who specializes in neuromusculoskeletal care—the treatment of conditions affecting the nervous system, muscles, and joints. This integrated approach focuses on diagnosing and correcting pain, dysfunction, and restricted movement by addressing how these systems interact.

At Northwest Spine & Sport in McMinnville, our chiropractors combine clinical expertise with the latest scientific research to assess, treat, and rehabilitate a wide range of musculoskeletal disorders, including back pain, joint dysfunction, and movement limitations.

  • Thorough movement-based assessments to identify restrictions or imbalances

  • Hands-on manual therapy to restore joint and soft tissue function

what is Functional Range Release (FR)®?

Functional Range Release® (FR®) is a hands-on connective tissue therapy used to treat dysfunction in muscles, tendons, ligaments, nerves, and joints. This advanced technique is part of a comprehensive soft tissue system designed using the most current scientific research in human movement and rehabilitation.

An FR® practitioner begins by assessing the quality and range of motion in your joints and surrounding soft tissues to identify areas of restriction or tension. They then apply specific force or tension using manual techniques to stimulate tissue remodeling, reduce pain, and restore normal function.

This form of treatment is highly effective for:

  • Reducing abnormal tissue tension

  • Increasing tissue resiliency and strength

  • Expanding joint range of motion

  • Supporting long-term functional movement

At Northwest Spine & Sport, FR® is often used alongside chiropractic adjustments and rehabilitative training to create a well-rounded treatment plan tailored to your needs.
