Meet Our Doctors
Dr. Trevor Stauber DC, MS, CCSP
Dr. Stauber was raised in Oregon where he attended Oregon State University, majoring in General Science. He went on to complete his Bachelor of Science in Human Biology, and then finished his Doctorate and Master's in Exercise and Sports Science at the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Stauber is also a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP) and is certified in soft tissue techniques, including Active Release Techniques (ART®),
Functional Range Release®, and Graston Technique®. Dr. Stauber supports the local athletes of Linfield College as an associate team physician for the Linfield athletic program.
Dr. Stauber resides in McMinnville with his wife and three daughters. He enjoys playing basketball, golfing, mountain biking, hiking, surfing, and spending time with his family.
Dr. Ben Herron, DC, MS, DACBSP, Functional Range Release®
Dr. Ben Herron grew up in central Ohio, where he played wing and fullback with the Westerville Worms rugby squad. After serving with the US Army’s 82nd Airborne, he attended the Ohio State University, majoring in biochemistry. He completed his bachelor’s degree in Human Biology and then went on to complete his Master’s in Exercise and Sports Science at the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon. After graduating, Dr. Herron was selected as the Sports Medicine Fellow at the University of Western States. He is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP) and a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (DABCSP). Dr. Herron has certifications in taping and soft tissue mobilization techniques including Rock Tape®, Active Release Technique (ART®) and Graston Technique®.
Dr. Herron recently moved to McMinnville and is looking forward to getting to know his new community. He loves cycling, jogging, hiking, skiing, and is a horrible golfer.
Meet Our Massage Therapists
Erich Steinmetz MS, ATC, LMT
Erich has been practicing massage therapy since 2000 and has extensive experience in clinical, orthopedic, rehabilitation and sports/performance based massage. He has a BS in Athletic Training from Oregon State University and a MS in Sports Medicine from University of Western States. He has further broadened his knowledge base and skill set by becoming certified in the use of the Fascial Abrasion Technique Tool, Rocktape and Corrective Exercise.
Erich was an instructor for University of Western States Massage Therapy Program, where he taught Kinesiology and Treatment Based Massage, and helped revise the Sports & Rehabilitation Massage course. He has also developed and taught continuing education for UWS and has supervised massage students at sports massage outreach events.
Erich has been fortunate enough to work several marque events such as the Prefontaine Classic and the USA Track and Field Olympic Trials in 2012 and 2016, having worked on a number of world champion and Olympic medalist athletes. He was also worked in China with several track and field athletes, enabling them to perform well in the 2018 Asian Games.
Erich hopes to continue his involvement in world class sports medicine during 2019, 2020 and 2021. Erich has been selected to serve as a member of the sports medicine team for the 2019 Pan Am Maccabi games. His goals are to continue to enhance his skill set to become a well-rounded sports therapist, in the vein of a Sports Physiotherapist.

Shawna studied massage therapy in Tigard at Everest Institute. She specializes in deep tissue, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy. She really enjoys helping people find their way to wellness. She is passionate about continuing her education and experience in her field with particular interest in advancing her treatment techniques pertaining to the head, neck and shoulders. She customizes her sessions individually and tailors her approach of massage and passive stretching to help her patients achieve their goals. Outside of work she enjoys being in the company of good people, spending time with her kids and family, and being outdoors.
Kristy Stickel, LMT/CA
Kristy studied massage therapy at the Salem campus of the Oregon School Of Massage. She has been practicing massage therapy since 2008, and specializes in Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Sports Massage, and Pediatric Massage. Kristy is very passionate about her job and is excited to help patients and show them the importance and effects of therapeutic massage. When Kristy is not providing patient care she enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her husband and family.
Gretchen Porier LMT/CA, Functional Range Release (FR®)
Gretchen started her massage therapy career as a 2003 graduate of Finger Lakes School of Massage in Ithaca, NY. In 2004 she became a NY State and National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) licensed massage therapist.
In 2015, Gretchen became a Board Certified therapist with NCBTMB in addition to obtaining Oregon state licensing for massage therapy. Gretchen pulls techniques from her initial massage therapy training and continuing education workshops to customize sessions for patient's needs.
When Gretchen is not working as a massage therapist she enjoys time with her husband and 2 kids, being outdoors, gardening, writing, reading, and horseback riding.
Devon Stackhouse LMT/CA
Devon studied massage therapy at the Tigard campus of Everest Institute. She specializes in deep tissue, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy. She wants to continue her education by taking classes pertaining to sports massage and sports injuries. Devon is passionate about the difference massage therapy can have for her patients and is determined to deliver high quality treatments in order to best help them. Her interest in massage began by participating and being around sports all her life. She particularly enjoys working on College athletes and aspires to work more closely in collegiate level sports medicine. Outside of work Devon enjoys spending time going to sporting events, concerts, camping, and being out on the lake.
Kevin Wetmore BS, FRCMS®, CA
Kevin graduated from Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon in 2013 with a degree in Exercise and Sports Science. While attending OSU he participated in the Army ROTC program. He is now a commissioned 1st Lieutenant in the Oregon Army National Guard. He spent the last two years gaining experience as a personal trainer and group exercise trainer. Recently he has become certified as a Chiropractic Assistant and is now certified as a Functional Range Conditioning (FRC®) movement specialist. Kevin Lives in Newberg where he coaches high school track and enjoys disc golfing, snowboarding and weightlifting.
