Meet Our Doctors
Dr. Trevor Stauber, DC, MS, CCSP
Dr. Stauber was raised in Oregon where he attended Oregon State University, majoring in General Science. He went on to complete his Bachelor of Science in Human Biology, and then finished his Doctorate and Master's in Exercise and Sports Science at the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Stauber is also a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP) and is certified in soft tissue techniques,
Functional Range Release®, and Graston Technique® and has a background in Active Release Technique. Dr. Stauber supports the local athletes of Linfield College as an associate team physician for the Linfield athletic program.
Dr. Stauber resides in McMinnville with his wife and three daughters. He enjoys playing basketball, golfing, mountain biking, hiking, surfing, and spending time with his family.
Dr. Ben Herron, DC, MS, DACBSP, Functional Range Release®
Dr. Ben Herron grew up in central Ohio, where he played wing and fullback with the Westerville Worms rugby squad. After serving with the US Army’s 82nd Airborne, he attended the Ohio State University, majoring in biochemistry. He completed his bachelor’s degree in Human Biology and then went on to complete his Master’s in Exercise and Sports Science at the University of Western States in Portland, Oregon. After graduating, Dr. Herron was selected as the Sports Medicine Fellow at the University of Western States. He is a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP) and a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (DABCSP). Dr. Herron has certifications in taping and soft tissue mobilization techniques including Rock Tape®, and Graston Technique® and has a background in Active Release Technique.
Dr. Herron recently moved to McMinnville and is looking forward to getting to know his new community. He loves cycling, jogging, hiking, skiing, and is a horrible golfer.
Dr. Urvi Khare, DC, BS
Dr. Urvi grew up in the Chicago suburbs and and moved to Oregon four years ago. She loves exploring the outdoors, traveling, staying healthy and active, and spending time with her loved ones and her adorable puppy. She received a Bachelor’s of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign where she volunteered in fitness and rehabilitative programs for senior citizens, disabled elite athletes, and children with motor developmental dysfunctions. She is a certified Yoga Instructor and has been teaching yoga for the past seven years. During this time she also received a Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine and an additional Bachelor's of Science in Human Biology from the University of Western States in Portland, OR. Her chiropractic and manual therapy skills include Functional Range Release® and she has taken a variety of continuing education seminars emphasizing soft tissue techniques and diversified adjustive techniques including Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Manipulation, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization for weight-lifting, McKenzie Method, and Motion Palpation Institute adjusting courses. She is excited to be a part of this team to help her patients achieve optimal movement!
Meet Our Massage Therapists
Kristy Stickel, LMT/CA
Kristy studied massage therapy at the Salem campus of the Oregon School Of Massage. She has been practicing massage therapy since 2008, and specializes in Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Sports Massage, and Pediatric Massage. Kristy is very passionate about her job and is excited to help patients and show them the importance and effects of therapeutic massage. When Kristy is not providing patient care she enjoys being outdoors and spending time with her husband and family.
John graduated in 2014 from Pima Community College. He practiced massage therapy for five years in Arizona, where he honed his skills in deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and myofascial release. John’s biggest motto is “no patient is the same” and customization to see the patient’s needs is key.
Meet Our Rehab Specialists
Kevin Wetmore BS, FRCMS®, CA
Kevin graduated from Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon in 2013 with a degree in Exercise and Sports Science. While attending OSU he participated in the Army ROTC program. He is now a commissioned 1st Lieutenant in the Oregon Army National Guard. He spent the last two years gaining experience as a personal trainer and group exercise trainer. Recently he has become certified as a Chiropractic Assistant and is now certified as a Functional Range Conditioning (FRC®) movement specialist. Kevin Lives in Newberg where he coaches high school track and enjoys disc golfing, snowboarding and weightlifting.
Nick Heuer DC, MS
Dr. Heuer was raised in beautiful Newberg Oregon where he began his pursuit of the medical field early on through the paramedic program at Chemeketa Community College. His time working towards this field, he found a developing passion for physical medicine and the world of strength coaching. Dr. Heuer decided to re-focus his efforts towards a Doctorate in Chiropractic and Masters in Sports Medicine to learn how to better treat patients with sports related injuries.
Dr. Heuer is also certified in Functional Range Release Technique as well as Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization level 3 through the Prague School. Dr. Heuer is a certified Crossfit Level 1 trainer and StrongFirst Level 1 coach. He has 4 years of growing experience in training everyday people to actualize their potential and keep them doing what they love to do pain free.
Dr. Heuer lives in his hometown of Newberg Oregon with his wife and puppy. He competes locally as a Highland Games athlete and Crossfit athlete. In his free time, Dr. Heuer enjoys the outdoors, fitness weightlifting, hunting, and fishing.
Olivia graduated from King Kekaulike High School on Maui in 2016. She is currently a senior at Linfield College, majoring in Athletic Training. She recently became certified as a Chiropractor Assistant and is now certified as a Functional Range Conditioning movement specialist. Olivia has a background in working with professional water athletes at Deep Relief Peak Performance and has goals to work with the dance population in the future.
